The Penumbra<\/strong> It's an awesome trilogy that has captivated us as Stephanie's writing is amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephanie recently granted me an interview to talk about her books & relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also told me about Twilight & the trilogy which, as she says, belongs to fantasy literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let's see what he told me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Tell us a little about yourself and how your love for writing books began?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFirst of all, thank you very much for the hospitality on this wonderful page! I come from Paphos, Cyprus, where I live with my husband and young son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I studied pedagogy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and continued my studies in Manchester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There I received my master's degree in Digital Technologies, Communication and Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I was little, I loved books and reading, and I always wanted to be a writer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I made my first attempt at writing when I was just eight years old \u2013 an attempt which, obviously, did not succeed.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

I kept trying though, and my "magic" moment, the moment I had always been waiting for, came much later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was in England for my graduate studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That's where I had the inspiration to start writing the "Twilight" trilogy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her first two books have been published, while the third is expected soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.What topic do your books deal with?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u201cThe Castle of Tymbri\u201d and \u201cOn the Other Side\u201d are the first two books of the \u201cTwilight\u201d trilogy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trilogy belongs to the genre of fantasy literature, a genre that is now beginning to flourish in Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the title of the first book suggests, it concerns a fictional castle, located in an isolated rural area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No one dares to approach it, because everyone believes it is haunted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strange things are said to exist within it, ghosts, monsters, and all sorts of supernatural entities.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The story begins on an August day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where three sixteen-year-old teenagers, Roxane, Pyrrhus and Jason, decide, out of curiosity, to enter the castle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There they realize that the rumors circulating about it are not unfounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that indeed, very strange things are happening inside him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Relationships are difficult these days. What do you think is the reason for this?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

"I believe that relationships between people have always been difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's just that in today's era, things may have gotten worse, as we've all become absorbed in our fast-paced lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our needs, our wants, and we never sit down to really listen to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We don't stop to listen to their problems, we don't listen to their feelings, we don't truly care about their needs.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

This, combined with our ever-increasing preoccupation with technology and social networks, I believe isolates us from others around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This puts a strain on our already difficult relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The economic crisis affects us all. What is your advice to young people who are just starting their dreams?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Nothing comes easy in life; everything is achieved with great effort and hard work."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is, indeed, extremely discouraging for a young person, with dreams and aspirations, to see everything constantly being crushed due to the economic crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be faced with tightly closed doors every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even so, there is always a ray of light somewhere, and opportunity appears where you least expect it.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

What it takes is patience, faith, hard work and dedication to what you do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Write us your favorite part from the book that you want to share with us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDifficult question!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can't isolate it without spoilers, so I'll quote an excerpt from my favorite descriptions found in the first book...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"He arrived at the hill just before sunset, and enjoyed the sight he saw."<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sun was setting brightly behind the stone peaks of the castle, and the sky had taken on a magnificent purple color.<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Orange and purple lines marked it, while the thick clouds had turned purple and formed fluffy patterns on the sky's veil.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The light rain that had been falling earlier had long since stopped, giving a bright fluorescent green color to the grass around the hill.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She took a deep breath, and her nostrils were filled with the smell of damp earth, mixed with the smell of wet grass.<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Favorite song and phrase at this time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFavorite song, \u201cEverything I wanted\u201d by Billie Eilish. One of my favorite phrases is \u201cCarpe Diem\u201d, always relevant, even in this difficult time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even when we're stuck at home, we can still seize the day and do things we couldn't or didn't have time to do before."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.What can we expect from you in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the near future, two things are in the works: the English translation of my first book, titled \u201cHemiphos: Timber's Castle\u201d and soon to be published by OnTime Books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, the third book of the trilogy is coming, which is almost finished and will eventually be on its way to publication!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
