| BIOGRAPHY: OR Sophia Deuterigou is a Greek poet and works as a Business Developer in the private sector. Creator and producer of the accessible Starthands platform with inclusive applied arts, she aims to bring together more and more arts and artistic works with universal accessibility and social responsibility. From a very young age, her poems have been published in newspapers, scientific journals, poetry tributes and anthologies. Her studies in sociology and her work experience in Greek businesses laid the first foundations for meaningful contact with fellow human beings and research to solve important issues. The first edition of her poetry collection was released in 2021. From Bacchae Monogenesis (published by Vakchikon). This was followed by the transcription of a selected part of the work into Braille, the interpretation of poems into Greek sign language, the children's edition of collectible illustrated notebooks with simultaneous interpretation into sign language, adapted for deaf and hard of hearing children, as well as the publication of the first digital card with a reproduction of poetry in English and with international meanings for the global deaf community. | |
